I’ve got a delicious and healthy smoothie to fuel your next workout! Loaded with healthy fats, this smoothie will not only satisfy your sweet tooth, but your hunger cravings as well. This would be a delicious breakfast or dessert!
*1/2 ripe avocado
*1/4 cup raw cashews
*2 dates, pitted
*1/4 tsp. vanilla extract
*1/4 cup chopped pecans
*1/2 cup lime juice
*2 tb. lime zest
*1 cup coconut or almond milk – unsweetened
*pinch of sea salt
*Optional protein boost: 2 scoops vanilla protein powder (I used Amazing Meal Vanilla Chai) or 1/2 cup liquid egg whites
*Yields 2 smoothies*
Blend those ingredients and you’ve got yourself a delicious, healthy and filling smoothie! Give the other half to your honey or pop it in the freezer for an after dinner treat that won’t derail your gains. Remove the protein powder for a Whole 30 approved version!
